Luogo: Sono da preferire Centri Culturali di prestigio, sedi di Istituti Italiani di Cultura con spazi adeguati o Gallerie e Musei d’Arte Contemporanea o Moderna.
Caratteristiche : La mostra occupa una superficie variabile tra i 150 e i 300 mq.
Consiste in 20/40 opere (da parete) e installazioni luminose, di varie dimensioni, dove la luce e il suo colore manifestano caratteristiche evidenti di design e creatività artistica.
Finalità: La mostra ha come scopo quello di valorizzare e di far conoscere nel mondo il percorso artistico e le opere di un artista italiano della Light Art che opera a Ferrara, dopo gli inizi passati a Milano, nel contempo di presentare le molteplici opere, forme di design e d’arte, nelle quali la luce e il colore sono elementi fondamentali.
Vincenzo Biavati, è un artista con una formazione tecnica di base: dopo la Laurea in Ingegneria fu assorbito dagli impegni di lavoro, ma negli anni 80 ricominciò a disegnare e dipingere e a seguire corsi specialistici. Negli anni 90 iniziò anche con la ceramica. Nel 2000 iniziò a frequentare l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e si dedicò in particolare alle installazioni luminose, che furono il piatto forte alla tesi. Oggi vive e opera a Ferrara e ama creare installazioni sitespecific, che uniscono storia ed architettura del luogo, con il mondo splendente della luce e del colore. L’artista ha esposto le sue opere in molte città estere e italiane e ha partecipato, a mostre e concorsi ottenendo encomi, premi. Le sue opere vanno da quelle di puro design (quasi lampade artistiche) a installazioni anche molto grandi, come un polpo (25 metri di diametro) costruito con bottiglie di plastica, in una piazza di Ferrara di fronte al Castello Estense.
Questa mostra può consentire, anche in nazioni molto distanti dall’Italia, di far conoscere le opere e l’arte di questo importante “artista della luce”.
Biavati, con la sua grande professionalità, è disponibile a far conoscere ad artisti e studenti di altri paesi le sue tecniche attraverso laboratori e conferenze.

Location: Preferably prestigious Cultural Centers, venues of Italian Cultural Institutes with adequate spaces, or Galleries and Museums of Contemporary or Modern Art. Features: The exhibition covers a variable area between 150 and 300 square meters. It consists of 20/40 artworks (on walls) and light installations of various sizes, where light and its color manifest evident characteristics of design and artistic creativity. Purpose: The exhibition aims to showcase and promote the artistic journey and works of an Italian Light Art artist based in Ferrara, after initially working in Milan. Simultaneously, it presents various works, forms of design and art in which light and color are fundamental elements. Vincenzo Biavati is an artist with a basic technical background. After graduating in Engineering, he became absorbed in work commitments. However, in the 1980s, he resumed drawing and painting and took specialized courses. In the 1990s, he began working with ceramics. In 2000, he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, focusing on light installations, which became a highlight of his thesis. Today, he lives and works in Ferrara, creating site-specific installations that combine the history and architecture of the location with the radiant world of light and color. The artist has exhibited his works in many foreign and Italian cities and has participated in exhibitions and competitions, receiving commendations and awards. His works range from pure design pieces (almost artistic lamps) to very large installations, such as an octopus (25 meters in diameter) constructed with plastic bottles in a square in front of the Estense Castle in Ferrara. This exhibition can introduce the works and art of this important “light artist” to countries far from Italy. With his great professionalism, Biavati is available to introduce his techniques to artists and students from other countries through workshops and lectures.
